Competition Results: Subversion Paradigm, Caloundra Open & South East QLD Championships
Our team has been putting in the work, and it showed on the competition mats! Over the month of March, our students have tested themselves at some of the biggest BJJ events, including Subversion Paradigm, Caloundra Open and the South East QLD Championships.
We’re incredibly proud of everyone who stepped up to compete, whether it was their first time or they were adding to an already impressive medal collection. Here’s a recap of how our team performed!
Subversion Paradigm (Sydney) – Professor Fabio Galeb - Leads From The Front
One of the biggest events on the Australian BJJ scene, Subversion Paradigm is known for its high-level superfights and professional production. Our very own Professor Fabio Galeb stepped onto the big stage to compete, representing the Galeb BJJ Association with skill and determination. It was an incredible experience, and we’re proud to have our professor testing himself at the highest levels. Professor Fabio won his superfight showcasing high level brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Caloundra Open – Huge Success for Our Team!
The Caloundra Open saw some incredible performances from our students, with several podium finishes:
🥇 Dave – Double Gold (Dominant performances across both Gi weight and open weight)
🥉 Alec – Third Place (Strong effort securing a well-earned podium finish!)
🥇🥈 Amira – Gold & Silver (A fantastic result, showing her versatility and skill!)

South East QLD Championships – First-Timers & Podium Placements
We had a large team competing at the South East QLD Championships, with many stepping onto the competition mats for the first time. A massive congratulations to:
